I am very late posting this; oh well. Last Thursday we spent some time at Coolidge Park with Brittany and Ada, Ashley and Jackson, and our new friends Jessica and Reed. Highlights of the day included...

  • Brittany and I laughing at ourselves for trudging through the park with SO MUCH STUFF! I had so much on the back of Anna Kate's stroller that it would have toppled over if I had let go! I just brought the "necessities" of course. waterproof blanket. quilt. bubble machine. bubble solution. push toy to practice walking. sippy cup. graham crackers. cookies for the moms. camera. toys galore. All this is not including what I had in the diaper bag!
  • Jackson looking cool and so stinking cute in his sunglasses.
  • Reed stealing Anna Kate's graham crackers and Anna Kate stealing kisses from Reed.
  • Ada showing off her new sitting up skills!
  • Having adult conversation between "corralling" our kidos.
We had a great time and are looking forward to doing again! Here are some pics from the day.

stealing kisses...
AK had fun playing with Reed who is only about six weeks younger than she is.
Little Jackson was content as long as AK and Ada were not stealing his pacey.
She was showing everyone her new trick... walking!
Ada sitting so confidently.
Where are you going Reed?
I love Ada's little grin in this one.

Another milestone! Anna Kate finished her first half gallon of cow's milk! We started introducing her to cow's milk a couple weeks ago when she turned 11 months (per doctor's orders). Although she was not so sure about it at first, she is really starting to like it!

I love Chattanooga. One thing I love so much about it is the plethora of beautiful parks and other outdoor sites to enjoy. Renaissance Park is one of my favorites. The park is composed of the normal pathways, and grassy patches, but the best thing about the park is the ENORMOUS hill in the middle. We first fell in love with the hill a couple years ago. After dinner with the Moncriefs one Saturday night, we all decided to climb up and see what it was all about. We ended up staying up there for over an hour, late into the night, just talking and enjoying the view of downtown Chattanooga. I've often seen kids and adults alike sliding down the hill on cardboard. It looks so fun! I can't wait to try it for myself. Another great thing about this park is the pretty backdrop it offers for photography. I had a lot of fun playing around taking pictures of Anna Kate yesterday. Here are some of my favorites of the night.

family

Last night, Chris, Anna Kate, and I took advantage of the nice evening and had a picnic at the park. It was so nice just to be with my family and spend time, talking, laughing, and playing together. I love my husband and daughter so much.

We enjoyed a fun morning outing with Aunt Brooke, Addie and Liam at the Chattanooga Riverpark. With temperatures in the 80's and beautiful blue skies, we could not resist being outside today! I, of course, brought the camera to try to snag a few pictures of some of my favorite kids in the world!

Anna Kate is EVERYWHERE. As soon as I think I have a good shot of her and try to get my camera up to my eye, she has crawled five feet away. It is a difficult task to take care of her as well as photograph her. I love the busy munchkin.

Miss Addie, has a mind of her own as well... she had her "Paris Hilton pose" going on today. She is so hilarious... keeps us in laughing! So girly, prissy, and stinkn' cute!

Thanks goodness for calm little Liam. I had the most fun shooting some pictures of and hanging out with my little nephew. Babies are usually so cooperative to photograph. I can't get enough of this little guy! Love him from his crazy hair to his cute little toes.

So here we are. Only one more month until our baby turns one! Yes, birthday plans are in full swing even though it has not quite hit me that my baby is growing oh so fast. Anna Kate now weighs 18.2 pounds. Although this girl L-O-V-E-S to eat, she is only in the 12th percentile for weight! I've been working hard on getting a slide show together with all my favorite pictures from her first year (I've got them narrowed down to about 300 ;) Anyway, as kind of a test I put together a mini-show with pictures and video clips from the last month. Spoiler alert! The end of the show is the best! She is officially taking her first steps! Oh my gosh it is the cutest thing... Enough of my rambling... see for yourself. Enjoy!
