We had a fun day out on the town with my parents today. It was Anna Kate's first real outing. It was a great day to be outside... such beautiful weather! We started the day by going to an apple orchard in Cleveland. Then we went by Daddy's office to pick up diapers from the wonderful diaper shower they gave us! After that, we took a nice walk in downtown Chattanooga. We finished by eating outside at Blue Plate. Just the break I needed after being on bed rest and staying in with a newborn for so long!

Anna Kate will be three weeks old tomorrow. She is just now starting to grow out of her premie clothes and into her newborn clothes. Here are some pictures of her in her first "big girl" clothes! She is growing and changing so much already!

What more can I say?

Hands...

Sleepy Anna Kate loves her soft rabbit!

Her first teddy bear is bigger than she is!

She is still a bit too little for her swing, but she likes to lay in it without swinging for now!

Every time we read her a story she stays wide awake!

FINALLY a little break from the heat, so we decided to take Anna Kate on her first walk. The weather was perfect. It was so nice to get out and breathe some fresh air. She slept through the whole thing, but seemed to enjoy it!

Sleep?

Exhausted parents and baby... Waking up to her makes it more than worth it.

Who could resist this little cutie? She is so tiny!

We just love seeing her beautiful eyes and the silly faces she makes when she is awake. I could stare at her all day!

Go VOLS!

This is Anna Kate's first of many times watching the Vols football game with her daddy. She is even sporting a pink TN hat!

Here is Anna Kate's first bath. She did not like it too much because it was only a sponge bath. She does like her real baths now that her cord has fallen off.

Our sweet baby is all settled in for her first night at home. She seems to be very comfortable in her cradle. It is extra special because my granddaddy made it for me when I was born!

It was an absolutely unbelievable feeling taking Anna Kate home. Reality sets in... she is really ours! It is such an incredible thing to be a parent.

We were surrounded by precious family members as we got our daughter ready to go home.

Anna Kate LOVES her beauty sleep, but we managed to capture a few shots of her with her eyes open!

Here are some of our wonderful friends that we just consider extended family. They will all be such great "aunts and uncles."

Uncle Brian, Aunt Brooke, Uncle Lee, Uncle Andy (not pictured), cousin Addie and even Great-Aunt Pam came to see Anna Kate.
